Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)

Course Description: The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) are designed to help federal, state, local authority and community to effectively prepare for and respond to chemical accidents and emergencies involving hazardous substances.

This course covers in detail the background, purpose, and requirements of CERCLA and EPCRA. It describes the initiatives and programs supported by the law. It prepares you to use Toxic Chemical Release Inventory analysis data, follow all reporting requirements, and identify liabilities for reporting requirement violations.
