NYC SST: 8 Hour Worker Refresher Package

The 8-hour NYC SST Renewal Training is required to maintain an active SST Worker card. It covers essential safety topics like fall prevention and scaffold user refresher training to ensure workers stay up to date with NYC construction safety standards.

Workers with an SST Worker card must complete this refresher training every five years to continue working on NYC job sites that require safety supervision.

The training takes a total of 8 hours and can be completed in one day through an approved online course provider like OSHA.com. Additional time should be allotted for the final exam or assessment.

Upon completion, the renewed SST Worker card remains valid for five years. Workers must complete refresher training before expiration to avoid having to retake the full 40-hour course.
